Jessica Zander, owner of Upper Left Craft Co, is passionate about direct to consumer relations and sales in the wine and craft beverage industry. She began her professional life in education, taking wine courses for fun. Her initial leap from the classroom landed Jessica in fine dining and events, where she learned that every detail can leave a lasting impression with guests. Jessica spent more than 15 years in hospitality and business operations, leading a prominent Washington winery to a 90% direct to consumer model, before founding her own consulting business that focuses on creating success for wineries and craft beverage brands.
As a Seattle native, Jessica calls the Rainy City home, although loves a good road trip to wine country or the coast. Jessica holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington and has completed coursework with the International Sommelier Guild. She has been invited to speak numerous times at the Direct to Consumer Wine Symposium on topics including small business and wine club operations.
