Learn more about participating in outdoor events with your fellow WA liquor licensees! Washington Wine Institute members can now sign up for the Expanded Alcohol Services webinar. The Washington Wine Institute, Washington Brewers Guild, and Northwest Cider Association have teamed up to make Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) experts accessible to educate you about how events will work under these new temporary allowances.

Registration Cost: Free for WWI, WBG, and NWCA members; $50 for Non-members
Topics: update on rulemaking, overview of the authorizations available, your responsibilities as a liquor licensee vs. the responsibilities of the city, county, or local jurisdiction, the process to request an event authorization and the documents needed, resources you need to help your brewery, cidery, winery, etc. participate in an event!

Background: Earlier this year, House Bill 1515 was created to expand outdoor alcohol service for liquor licensees starting next year and through 2027. Multiday, large-scale events with alcohol service allowed will also be permitted for designated WA “fan zone” cities and city-owned civic campus spaces, “Watch Parties” for the 2026 FIFA World Cup from June to July 2026.
